Convergence 2: Coalesce / Collapse is now available from Amazon in Kindle format and Paperback. (The two versions are not connecting yet, but they will eventually… It took a couple of days last time…)
Here is the blurb from the Amazon site:
Volume 2 of the “Fionnbhara Convergence” series, “Convergence 2: Coalesce / Collapse”, continues the story of the artist and the scientist whose lives are entangled across multiple world-lines, delving deeper the world of the Tuatha Dé Danann. This volume introduces new Fae characters right from the start: Fenne, the third sister in a triad of Tuatha Dé Danann sisters with Áine and Gréine, who is especially adept at sifting through the various alternate possible futures and finding information; and Lugh, the Celtic sun god of lore who she works with to try to figure out what her two injured sisters are trying to accomplish, as well as a way to free them from their self-generated exile.
Along the way, we take a trip back into Jules’ formative years and learn that the connections between her and Owen may be deeper than they thought. In addition, we delve into Owen’s past and learn more about his first wife and how their tumultuous relationship came to be.
(Contains mature themes including drug use and non explicit sexual situations.)
If you haven’t read book 1 yet, it is also available from Amazon:
Volume two goes into much more detail about the Tuatha Dé Danann and how the two sisters ended up inhabiting these two sets of associated world-lines. It also includes a “flashback” section with Jules in her early teenage years as she deals with her obsession over the 9/11 attacks, her insecurities about her newly discovered ‘abilities’, in addition to some family problems. Helping her cope with these issues is her visiting cousin, who has a host of problems of her own to deal with, including her parents separation and starting high school the next year at a boarding school. However, she is also a bit more than she seems. She has the third of the Tuatha Dé Danann sisters, Fenne, along with her, in much the same way Áine and Gréine are with Jules, trying to figure out what her two sisters were trying to accomplish by moving from mother to daughter when Jules was so incredibly young. Jules cousin also has a very familiar name… Lilly!
[The WattPad version is now down to just the Preface, Dramatis Personae, and Prologue in accordance with the Kindle Select guidelines for promotional content online.]
